OBITUARY: W.C. Gallie
Windsor - William Charles Gallie, 83, of Windsor, died Tuesday in Payzant
Memorial Hospital. He was employed 21 years with the town street maintenance
department before retiring in 1962. Born in Bramber, Hants County, he was a
son of the late James and Emma (Lake) Gallie. He was a member of Windsor
United Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Beulah McCullough; four
daughters, Elizabeth (Mrs. Stafford Macumber), Falmouth; Mrs. Laurena
Swinamer, Windsor; Frances (Mrs. Robert Rosborough) and Lillian (Mrs. George
Lazaravich), both of London, Ont.; two sons, David, London, Ont.; Alfred,
Scotch Village; two sisters, Alice (Mrs. Freeman Brown), Bramber; Mrs.
Alnetta Crowell, Lynn, Mass.; one brother, Nathan, Bramber; and 28
grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son,
four brothers and three sisters. The body is at the Lohnes Funeral Home,
Windsor, where funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m., with Rev.
Blake Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

OBITUARY - Beulah D. Gallie
Windsor - Beulah Darling Gallie, 90, Windsor, died Friday in Hants Community
Hospital, Windsor. Born in Spencer's Island, she was a daughter of the late
John and Esther (Morang) McCullough. She was a member of Windsor United
Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Elizabeth (Mrs. Stafford
Macumber), Falmouth; Frances (Mrs. Robert Rosborough) and Lillian (Mrs.
George Lazarabich), both of London, Ont.; Mrs. Laurena Swinamer, Windsor;
two sons, David, London, Ont.; Alfred, Scotch Village; two half-sisters,
Lillian (Mrs. Louis Taylor), Marblehead, Mass.; Christina (Mrs. John Bobin),
London, Ont.; one half-brother, Foye Crowell, Kingston, Ont.; 28
grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her
husband, William; a son, Wilfred; a brother Laurie; a half-sister, Frances;
a step-father, Isaac Crowell. The body is in Lohnes Funeral Home, Windsor,
where funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Fred Archibald officiating.
Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
