Molly Baughn Morwick of Parrsboro

There was no obit published in the Parrsboro Record for George Dow Morwick
who died 8 Oct 1941 in the County Home, Pugwash. I will check the A.D.N.
next week to see if anything was published there.

OBITUARY:
Morwick, Molly B. - 90, Parrsboro, died Wednesday at home. Born in
Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian (Roop) Morwick.
She was employed by the Town of Parrsboro for 17 years as deputy Town Clerk
and 34 years as Town Clerk. She was also secretary of the regional school
board for one year. She was a life member of Pythian Star 8, Springhill, as
well as a past member of the Rebekah Lodge. She is the last surviving member
of her immediate family. She is survived by two nephews, William Morwick,
Harmon Morwick, both of Situate, Mass.. She was predeceased by four
brothers, ***George***, Harold, John, Roy; two nephews, Ronald, Lloyd. The
body is in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. A committal service will be 10
a.m. Monday in Parrsboro United Church, Rev. Fraser Smith officiating.
Donations to Parrsboro Adult Day Care Fund or the L.A. Animal Shelter.
