I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:
March 20, 1986 Halifax Chronicle Herald:
ADVOCATE, Cumberland County - Alma Nora Blenkhorn, 83, of Advocate, died Tuesday at Bayview Memorial Hospital, Advocate. Born in Advocate, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Nora (Winters) MacAleese. She is survived by a great-niece, Heather DeSauliers, Moncton and a cousin, Helen Allen, Port Greville, Cumberland County. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl; a son, Corbett; and two sisters, Ena Cochrane and Vivian. The body is at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. in Advocate United Church, Rev. Ralph MacDonnell officiating. Burial will be in Advocate Cemetery at a later date.
