MILLS, Thelma Christina - 63, Tyndal Road, Cumberland County, died June 16, 1994, in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Springhill, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Elsie Eunice (Tully) Lowther. For a number of years she was employed by the late Mr. D.A. Casey in Amherst and later owned and operated the Old Country Store, Tidnish Bridge from 1977-85. She was a member of Cumberland Craft Guild for a number of years. She is survived by a daughter, Grace S. (Mrs. Paul I. Wood), Trenton, Ont.; sister, Judy (Mrs. Raymond Schultz), East Leicester; brother, Garry, East Leicester; a grandson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Alma in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Allen's Funeral Home, Oxford. A memorial service will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Little River United Baptist Church, Rev. Blair Holden officiating. A private committal service will be in
Leicester Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to Palliative Care Unit of Camp Hill Medical Centre or Highland View Regional Hospital Palliative Care Service.
