And here is her husband's obituary (possibly from the June 12, 1974 Halifax Chronicle Herald):
OXFORD - Arthur Corey Mattinson, 82, died in All Saints Hospital, Springhill on Tuesday. Born in Beckwith, he was a son of the late John William and Susan (Lowther) Mattinson. He spent his life in Beckwith working in the woods, in the sawmill, and on the farm. He retired ten years ago. Besides his wife, the former Celia Hollis, he is survived by a daughter, Ethel (Mrs. Lorne Wood), Lake Killarney; two sons, Corey, Lower Sackville, Albert, Springhill; two sisters Bessie (Mrs. Clayton Knight), Amherst; Hattie (Mrs. Fred Hollis), Springhill; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers, Rupert, Frank, and Eaton and two sisters, Flora and Etta. The body is at MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, Oxford, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m., Rev. Edgar Patriquin officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Grove cemetery, Oxford.
NOTE: It appears that the newspaper reversed his wife and his mother in the obituary. GFM
Hope this helps someone,
Gerry
