Obit (1997) - Aramenta Dorinda CROSSMAN (nee LOWTHER)

Oct. 6, 1997 Halifax Chronicle Herald:
CROSSMAN, Aramenta Dorinda - 69, 39 Hickman St., Amherst, died October 3, 1997, in Moncton City Hospital.  Born in Tidnish, she was a daughter of the late James and Permilla (Thomas) Lowther.  She worked for Woolworths in Amherst for 48 years, retiring in 1992.  She was a member of Calorie Counters, Amherst.  Surviving are her husband, Harold; daughters, Sharon (Mrs. Gary Skidmore), Halifax; Linda Crossman, Amherst; Beverly (Mrs. Doug McGee), Sydney; son, Arthur, Amherst; sister, Beatrice (Mrs. Doug Hawkes), Warren; brothers, Leonard, Lloyd, Tidnish; Herbert, Oxford; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brothers, Major, Robert; sisters, Vivian in infancy, Dorothy.  Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday, both in Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst, Rev. Byron Corkum officiating.  Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Tidnish.  Donations to Kidney Foundation of Canada, Nova
Scotia Branch.
