I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:

Sept. 23, 1977 Halifax Chronicle Herald:
OXFORD - Lauder Leslie, 56, of Oxford, died Thursday in All Saint's Hospital, Springhill.  Born in Oxford, he was the son of the late Cleveland and Lila (Metcalf) Leslie.  He was an honorary member of the Oxford volunteer fire department, a charter member of the Oxford Lions Club, a member of the Knights of Pythias, a member of the Oxford Regional High School board and a member of Trinity United Church, Oxford.  Surviving are his wife, the former Laverne Dickie; three daughters, Vivian (Mrs. Harris Taylor), Amherst; Gail (Mrs. Forbes MacLean), Oxford; Theresa, at home; and a son, Michael, at home.  He was predeceased by three brothers, Clarie, Wilfred and Kenneth.  The body is at McDiarmid's Funeral Home, Oxford.  Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Trinity United Church, Oxford, Rev. Maynard Rector officiating.  Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery, Oxford.
