Obit (1989) - Arnold Ernest LEGROW

I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:

March 20, 1989 Halifax Chronicle Herald:
LEGROW, Arnold Ernest - 88, 32 Church St., Springhill, died Saturday in MacAloney's Nursing Home, Springhill.  Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Frederick and Caroline (Hollett) Legrow.  After returning from the United States in 1937, he built the Esso Service Station in Springhill, which he operated for more than 20 years.  He was a member of St. Andrews Wesley United Church, Springhill, serving as chapel steward.  He is survived by his wife, the former Juanita Grace Simpson; a daughter, Eudora (Mrs. Arnold Young), Leamington; a son, Arnold, Springhill; a sister, Carrie (Mrs. Ralph Robbins), Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Lee, Montreal; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by two sisters, Gladys, Mary; two brothers, Monson, Jack.  The body is in A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Elroy McKillop, Rev. Glen Matheson officiating.  Burial
at a later date in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.
