OBITUARY

Mrs. Evelyn Estabrooks, 63, of Middle Sackville died Sunday, Nov. 26, 1989, at Sackville
Memorial Hospital. Born in Cadman's Corner, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Vara
(Bennett) Goodwin. She was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church, Port Elgin and a member
of the Upper and Middle Sackville Women's Institute. Her husband, Raymond Estabrooks, died
previously. She is survived by two sons, Robert and Clarence, both of Middle Sackville; two
daughters, Mrs. David Hicks (Brenda) of Chatham and Mrs. Victor Sears (Deborah) of West
Sackville; two brothers, Hanson of Toronto and Eldon of Sackville; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel
Brown of Springhill, and Mrs. Melvin Spence (Mae) of Green Point, and Mrs. Dorothy Allen of Port
Elgin and Mrs. John Flemming (Florence) of Port Elgin; eight grandchildren, several nieces and
nephews. A sister, Nellie, died previously. The body was at Campbell's Funeral Home,
Sackville, where funeral service was held Tuesday. Burial was in the Four Corners Cemetery.
