I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:
Feb. 4, 1989 Halfiax Chronicle Herald:
KING, Frank Lewis - 78 of Kolbec, Cumberland County died Thursday in Highland View Hospital, Amherst. Born in Mount Pleasant, he was a son of the late Maynard and Mary (Mattinson) King. A retired policeman, he served with the Amherst force. He is survived by his companion, Daisy Rushton; two daughters, Mary (Mrs. Ben Bryon), Yarmouth; Dianne (Mrs. Edward Cameron), Amherst; a son, Maynard, Surrey, BC; a sister, Hazel (Mrs. Abraham Williams), Mount Pleasant; two brothers, Harlow, Ontario; Tom, Mount Pleasant; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Harry and Alfred. The body is in MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, Oxford, where funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 pm, Rev. Hubert Bartlett officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in the spring.
