Parrsboro Notes 1943
EXCERPTS FROM THE PARRSBORO RECORD :
APRIL 14,1943
OBITUARIES :
Mrs. Samuel Morwick - It was with a feeling of deep regret that this
community learned of the passing of Mrs. Samuel Morwick at her home on
Western Ave, early Thursday morning. She was seventy-eight years of age and
a life long resident of this town. She was the widow of Captain Samuel M.
Morwick and was the former Lillian Roop, daughter of the late Captain and
Mrs. Dowe Roop, pioneer settlers of Parrsboro. She is survived by one
daughter, Mollie B. Morwick, Town Clerk and three sons, Harold, John R. and
George. A son Roy was killed in the last war.
