Hi Eleanor:
I have two separate Collins families in my file; one from the Maccan area
and one from the Parrsboro Shore area. I don’t believe either family is
related to the other.
I have a Kenneth Wayne Collins, born 1946 in Advocate, s/o John Alden
Collins and Bernice Jessie Lewis who was adopted out herself and raised as a
Fraser. Neither parent of Kenneth Wayne Collins (John or Bernice) mention a
spouse in their obits so maybe their marriage broke up and this Kenneth
Wayne Collins was the same Wayne Collins put in foster care with your
parents?
Does anything in the two obits below ring a bell?
Dave

Notes:
Bernice Jessie Lewis is survived by a daughter, Marian in Toronto (1963).
John Alden Collins wasn't survived OR predeceased by a daughter, Marian
(1973). Marian may have been Bernice's before she married John OR perhaps
Marian passed away in between those two dates. - Dave W.
I have Marian Lewis born on April 20, 1932 while her mother Jessie Bernice
Lewis and John Alden Collins were married on August 21, 1933 so it looks
like your thesis above might be correct. - Jack W.
