Just realized what is being discussed here, Collins from Cumb. Co..
When I was growing up we had a boy from Children’s Aid ( what it was called then) fostering at our house. His name was Wayne Collins. I often wondered what happened to him. He would be approaching 70 if he is still around. I know nothing about his family or circumstances as I was several years younger. Somewhere I have a picture of him ( or I think I still have it). Hello again Carolyn,
You said Perry Collins died in 1967. If you don't his obituary, one was published in the Herald on July 19, 1967 for Perry G. Collins (Maccan) - unfortunatley I don't have a copy but another lister may have one.

Hi Dave,
I wish I could sort out the children! Some are easy but the others, not so much.
>From Evelyn's 2003 obit:
- Collins: Rose, James (~1958-1989), Perry (dec)
- White: Terry, Henry/Harry, Stephan
- Rhindress: Jason, Ronnie
- no surname: Marjorie, Linda, Karen
>From Alexander's 1973 obit:
- no surname: Rose, [not mentioned: James who would have been living with his grandparents as per his obit], [not mentioned: Perry, either deceased or living with a relative?], Terry, Henry/Harry, Stephan, [Jason & Ronnie came from Evelyn's marriage after Alexander's death], [not mentioned: Marjorie], Linda, Karen, Bruce [who is not named in Evelyn's obit]
The best info is in Evelyn's obit but still leaves a lot of questions.
And another question I have is regarding Perry Collins. There is a nine-year-old boy by that name who died in 1967 who is s/o John W. Collins, Jr, but would be about the right age for a son of Evelyn's. Do you have any idea who this John W. Collins, Jr, is? Is he perhaps related to Evelyn and raising her child? A long shot for sure but I can't find any other record of a death for her son.

Carolyn:
Thanks. Dorothy Grace (Spicer) Collins was my father¹s 1st cousin.
Her daughter, Evelyn Mae Collins was in one relationship for James Edward
Collins plus 2 marriages.
Have you tried to figure out all the children as to who¹s who?
Thanks
Dave
