Re: Mary O. (Grant) York/e

Hi Dave:

I believe that they are one and the same.

The Saint John address is just that - her address but she appears to have died at D C Grant's home in Athol.

The only oddball item for me is the reference to James Yorke as her husband.

Subject: [nscumber] Mary O. (Grant) York/e

Could someone please give me an opinion on the 2 Mary York's on the NSARM
Vitals for Cumberland County?

Both died 25 Apr 1915. One appears to have died in Saint John while the
other died in Athol.

The informant on the Saint John one was D.C. Hunter who would be a
brother-in-law, Daniel Chisholm Hunter [Marion Moriah (Grant) Grant] living
in Athol if she's the person I'm thinking she is.

Mary O. Grant, born about 1858 in Fraserville, d/o William Grant and Rachel
Fraser. M/1 George E. York/e on 25 Apr 1877, Greenville, Cumberland County.
Greenville could possibly be an error entry for Port Greville?

Thanks.

Dave
