Sandra A. Mitchell (October 29, 1940 - August 25, 2012)
Mitchell  Sandra A. - 71, Oxford, slipped away in a peaceful state, from complication from surgery in the early hours of Saturday, August 25, 2012 in Moncton. She was a daughter of the late Alton and Elsie (Dickie) Taylor of River Philip, Cumberland County. She will be missed dearly by her loving husband, Irvin Mitchell: son, Clayton (Michelle); grandchildren, Jessica and Julia; sisters, Janey (David) MacDougall, Halifax; Marla Ross, River Philip; nieces, Kareen, Ontario, and Rhonda, Collingwood. She was predeceased by her brother, Carmen. Throughout the years, Sandra enjoyed gardening, quilting, watching her hummingbirds, reading westerns, her daily soap operas, yard sale and auction hunting and collecting Christmas ornaments. She was active in Oxford Minor Hockey, throughout her son’s school years. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, August 27, with funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, both in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home, 5075
