WEDDING: Wyman - Smith
Boston, Mass. - On Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock in the parsonage of the Beth
Eden Baptist Church on Fuller St., Miss Laura E. Smith, daughter of Brenton
Smith and the late Mrs. Smith of Parrsboro, became the bride of Gerald L.
Wyman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wyman of Rochester, Vt. Rev. J. Walter
Sillen, pastor of the church, solemnized the single ring service, which was
followed by a dinner party at the Hotel Sussex, Boston. Mr. and Mrs. Murray
Welton, the latter a sister of the bride, attended the couple. The bride
wore a fuchsia chiffon blouse with her white suit and chose also a white
picture hat and a corsage of gardenias. The matron of honor wore a similar
corsage with her rose suit which was further accented with navy accessories.
Returning from a wedding trip to Montreal, Canada and Vermont, Mr. and Mrs.
Wyman will reside in Waltham, where the former is employed.
