Seaman Drowned
Word was received here yesterday by F.S. Thompson that his brother, George
Thompson, aged 57, seaman on board the M.V. "Twilah and Rozelle", Captain
Cheney, was drowned from the vessel in Boston Harbour on Sunday. The wire
from the Captain stated the body had not yet been recovered and that further
particulars of the fatal accident would follow. Mr. Thompson is a native of
Parrsboro and has followed the sea for some years. F.S. Thompson of this
town is the only surviving relative. This vessel left Apple River last week
with a cargo for Boston.
