Obit (1994) - Alfred Henry JACKSON

JACKSON, Alfred Henry - 80, Fenwick, died October 13, 1994, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst.  Born in Lorneville, he was a son of the late George and Ellen (Feltham) Jackson.  He was a farmer and had been employed at EnHeat for over 40 years.  He is survived by his wife, the former Eileen Smith; six daughters, Brenda (Mrs. Reg White), Upper Nappan; Judy (Mrs. Bliss Baker), Brookdale; Jocelyn, Moncton, N.B.; Patricia (Mrs. Garth Gates), Truro; Starr (Mrs. Robin MacLean), Strathcona; Wanda Thorburn, Dartmouth; six sons, Sanford, John, both of Amherst; Mayhue, Grand Cache, Alta.; Carman, Yarmouth; Bruce, Galatia, Ill.; Brian, Fenwick; brother, Johnny, Chapman Settlement; four sisters, Margaret (Mrs. Eugene Haynes), Evelyn (Mrs. Doug Haynes), both of Lorneville; Avery, Leicester; Pearl (Mrs. Isidore Gallant), Amherst; 29 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a
daughter, Gwenda; two sisters, Viola Locke, Annie Noiles; grandson, George Jackson; a great-granddaughter.  Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Saturday in Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Harold King officiating.  Following cremation, burial will be in Amherst Head Cemetery.
