Obituary - NORTON, Elsie M. - Arlington, Mass., died August 22, 1993, at
home. Born in Parrsboro, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the
late Edson and Grace (Ayer) Yorke. She is survived by a daughter, Judy,
Arlington; son, Alfred,
Rindge, N.H.; sister, Mrs. Lena Erb, Parrsboro; four grandchildren; a
great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest; four sisters,
Nellie, Clara, Davida, Nita; brother, Alfred. A memorial service will be
11 a.m. Saturday in Parrsboro Baptist Church, Rev. Harold Bentley
officiating.
Burial will be in Parrsboro United Cemetery. Donations may be made to any
charity. Arrangements under the direction of Smith's Funeral Home,
Parrsboro.

Obituary: Elsie M. (Yorke) Norton of Arlington, a retired nurse, died
Sunday at home after a brief ilness. She was 85.
Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, Mrs. Norton worked as a private-duty nurse.
She is survived by a son, Alfred L. of Rindge, N.H.; a daughter, Judith
Ann of Arlington; a sister, Lena Erb of Nova Scotia; four grandchildren;
and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Bigelow Chapel of
Mount Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mount Auburn St., Cambridge.
Arrangements are by Saville Funeral Home, Arlington.
