OBITUARY:
Feener, Isabella Blanche - 61, Bass River, died Sunday at home. Born in Bass
River, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Agnes (Vance) Huntley. She
was a lifelong resident of Bass River and was a school teacher for 35 years
before retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Bass River Baptist Church
and of the Baptist Women's Work Group, serving as treasurer for many years.
She was also a member of UNICEF and of the Royal Canadian Legion, Great
Village Branch. She is survived by a son, Roger, Enfield; a daughter, Linda,
Oxford; a brother, Arthur, Bass River; three grandchildren. She was
predeceased by her husband, Roy; a brother, Carl. Funeral will be 2 p.m.,
today in Bass River Baptist Church, Rev. Margaret Outerbridge officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in Bass River Baptist Cemetery. Donations may
be made to any charity.
