OBITUARY

LENA BLANC SEARS
The death of Lena Blanc Sears, wife of Maxwell Sears, Parrsboro, occurred on Thursday, October
5th, at her home on Western Avenue. Deceased had been ill for some time and was 26 years of
age. She is survived by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. McWhirter of Ward's brook; four
sisters and two brothers, her husband and three children. The funeral took place at Saturday
with services at the house by the Salvation Army, and at the Church of England by Rev. C.R.
Harris, with interment in the Church of England cemetery. Much thanks are expressed for the
many floral tributes.

Michael Douglas Sears.
On Monday, February 20th, at 1 a.m. there passed away Michael Douglas, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Maxwell Sears, Western Avenue, at the age of two months. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved
parents as this is their second loss within six months.
