Yes you turn right just before the sawmill if you are heading to Parrsboro. It is on the road going to Harrison Settlement. It is only up there just out of sight of the main road. There was an old Church there also but it is in very bad shape now. Wanda

Wanda, I'm from Southampton and I never knew that and never noticed another one! Is it before Harrison's sawmill? I would like to have a visit there. Thanks!

There is a cemetery called the "Union Church Cemetery". It is located about ten minutes down the road from the West Brook Cemetery. It is in Halfway River. Wanda

Jim & Freda:
I stand to be corrected, but I'm guessing it was an earlier name for West
Brook Memorial Gardens. I'm only aware of the one cemetery in West Brook,
behind where Carl Thompson's General Store used to be and off just the
Thunder Hill Road. There used to be a Baptist Church and a Methodist/United
Church on each corner opposite the Thompson Store where the Thunder Hill
Road crossed the Highway and headed towards New Canaan. The forth corner was
the School, I believe.
Possibly the Methodist/United and Baptist used the same cemetery, referring
to it as the Union Cemetery back in the 1930's.
