FUNERAL: Leo Corbin
Advocate (Special) - The death of Leo Corbin occurred in Fox River on
Thursday, Mar. 21st. Mr. Corbin was born in Kentville seventy-four years
ago, son of the late Martin and Emma May Hiltz[sic.] Corbin. He leaves five
sons, Clayton of Kentville; Max of Welland, Ont.; Albert of Halifax; Warren
and Merle of Advocate Harbour; three daughters, Pearl (Mrs. Basil Lunn) of
Apple River; Ruby (Mrs. F. Parker) of Welland, Ont.; and Lillian (Mrs. A.
Parker) of California; also, three sisters, Emily (Mrs. Robert MacCully of
Ward's Brook; Lillie of Saskatchewan and Effie (Mrs. Lovelock) of New York;
and three brothers, Harry, Ralph and Isaac of Advocate Harbour. Funeral was
held Sunday afternoon from the United Baptist Church at 2 o'clock

Note: Funeral should be Obituary. Emma May Hiltz was his predeceased wife;
his mother was Susan Antoinette Rafuse. MacCully should be McCully.

FUNERAL: Leo Corbin
Advocate (Special) - The funeral of the late Leo Corbin was held from the
Baptist Church on Sunday, Mar. 24th, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Frank
Mollins, assisted by Rev. George Gough of the United Church. The Church
choir rendered the following hymns, "I Need Thee Every Hour", "Jesus Is
Always There" and "Rock Of Ages". After the service the members of the Odd
Fellows Lodge held their funeral service, conducted by the officers and
members of the lodge. Burial was in the family lot in the Advocate cemetery.
Mr. Yorke was funeral director.
