OBITUARY: Mrs. Charles Nichols
Parrsboro - Mrs. Charles Nichols, 68, of Moose River, Cumberland County,
died Monday in South Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Parrsboro. She was the
former Greta Mae Dow, daughter of the late Freeman and Lottie (Brown) Dow.
Surviving are her husband; one son, Freeman, Dartmouth; four daughters,
Helen (Mrs. Gilbert Bellefontaine), Dartmouth; Ruth (Mrs. Edward Chapman),
Preston; Barbara (Mrs. William LaPelley), Topsfield, Mass.; Evelyn (Mrs.
Edward Selminowski), Bramlea, Ont.; three brothers, Glenford, Moose River;
Hazen, Truro; Seldon, Sudbury, Ont.; four sisters, Lyla (Mrs. Burpee
Canning), Parrsboro; Denzil (Mrs. Peter Stark), Medford, Mass.; Stella (Mrs.
Harry Bell), St. Stephen's, N.B.; and Beryl (Mrs. Carl George), Canning. The
body is at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be
held Wednesday at 4 p.m., with Rev. Hazen Bezanson officiating. Burial will
be in United Church Cemetery, Parrsboro.

OBITUARY: Charles Nichols
Moose River, Cumberland County - Charles A. Nichols, 80, of Moose River,
died Monday at home. Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late John and
Helen Whynott) Nichols. He was a retired sheet metal worker. Surviving are a
son, Arthur, Dartmouth; four daughters, Helen (Mrs. Gilbert Bellefontaine),
Dartmouth; Barbara (Mrs. William LePelley), Topsfield, Mass.; Evelyn (Mrs.
Edward Selminowski), Bramlea, Ont.; Ruth (Mrs. William Goldsworthy),
Porter's Lake; a sister, Susan (Mrs. Lewellyn Davis), Mahone Bay; 18
grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife,
the former Greta Dow. The body is in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where
the funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Bradley Little officiating.
Burial will be in United Church Cemetery, Parrsboro.
