There is a Margaret Seaman death 20 Dec 1908 in Dartmouth Halifax so maybe the Presbyterian church would have a record of her maiden name.  Lynne

This gets more and more confusing: There are 3 people that have posted Public Family Trees in Ancestry.com. Showing Margaret's surname is name is Shannon. With the same children. But the birth record for Amos Thomas shows mother's maiden name as McWhirter.
