Thanks for posting Gerry. Great obituary with lots of Stewart family information.
I was actually working on Joshua, John and family this week. I couldn't find anything past 1920 Census with him in Leadville, Colorado. This helps.
Obit lists that they lived in Idaho Springs for a bit. I have their son Walter B. Stewart living there in 1920. He must have moved after Census was taken.
A bit off topic of the obituary.....
I am related to the Stewart family as my gr gr gr grandmother was Martha Stewart Moore. My gr gr grandmother Agnes Christie Moore Cuthbertson who lived in Roslin.
I also tie into the Stewart's through marriage. Annie Stewart who married Laurie Henley ties in as well. She was daughter of Robert Stewart and Margaret Jane Grant. This relationship being said it made Agnes Moore Cuthbertson and Annie Stewart Henley second cousins. They were great friends in life and related as well.

Here is the 1923 obituary for Joshua B. STEWART, born in Roslin, son of David STEWART & Jane C. McDOUGALL.
Feb 15, 1923 Oxford Journal:
Funeral service for the late Joshua B. Stewart, pioneer Leadville mining man who died at his home 110 West Ninth Street, shortly before 10 o'clock, Monday morning will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, at the Moynaban O 'Malia Chapel. The services, conducted by the Rev. Archibald Durrie, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will be held under the auspices of the local lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, in which during the twenty-eight years of his membership, he held every office. Walter B. Stewart of Trinidad, eldest son of the decedent and receiver and manger of a coal mining company in the city, and Charles W. Stewart of Oakland, Calif., publisher of the Oakland Advance, his youngest son, will reach Leadville today to attend the funeral of their father. Mr. Stewart is also survived by his widow; a third and fourth son, Horace D. Stewart, Los Angeles, druggist and Herbert J. Stewart pumpman at the Penrose mine and a younger
brother, Will Stewart, believed to reside in Augusta, Montana. Horace Stewart will be unable to attend the funeral. The family has not yet located the decedent's brother.
Joshua B. Stewart was born in Roslin, Nova Scotia, October 29, 1854. He was there united in marriage with Miss Margaret Wilson in 1878 and together they moved in 1879 to Idaho Springs. Their residence in that city was brief. Residence in Leadville was established in July 1880 and since then Mr. Stewart has been continuously engaged in this city. The greater part of these forty-two years he spent as a stationary engineer in various mines, but he later became superintendent and manager of the Boulder mine and the St. Louis tunnel. June 7, 1915 Mr. Stewart met with a serious accident when badly trampled by a runaway horse. Heart trouble developed soon afterward, other complications set in and his death is regarded as indirectly due to the accident.
He never retired from the mining game, being until his death engaged in leasing with one of his sons. Mr. Stewart held membership in the Odd Fellows, the Royal Arcanum and the Rebekahs. - Leadville Colorado Paper.
(The deceased referred to above was a nephew of Mr. James Stewart of Oxford. - Editor, Journal).
