OBITUARY
MR JOHN C STEWART DIED ON OCTOBER 24TH AT HIS HOME DOUGLAS STREET TRURO
All acquaintances of Mr. John C. Stewart, will regret to learn that he had died at his home on Douglas street, Truro early this morning October 24.
Mr Stewart had been in failing helth(sic) for the past ten months. Every effort in a medical way had been made, but the sufferers strength continued to fail until at five o'clock a.m., today he past away.
Some seven years ago Mr. Stewart with his family moved from Thompson, Cumb. Co., to this town, where he made many friends and acquaintances.
He was a skild(?) mechanic, and was a valued and highly esteemed employee of Messrs Spencer Bros and Turner.
The deceased, is survived by his wife, and one daughter, Miss Winnie Stewart.
At 8:00 o'clock a.m. on the 25th a short funeral servis(sic), will be held at the home residence Rev. Mr. G. W. F. Glendenning, officiating.
The remains will be sent at 9:15 o'clock a.m., on No. 17 Express to Thompson Cumb. Co., for interment.
