After seeing all her mother¹s 3 marriages, I tend to agree. At the time
Helen Blanche m/1 George McLeod in 1935, her mother was a Cluney and Helen
Blanche was possibly also going by Cluney over Cormier. The ³Newfoundlander²
Cloney would be her step-father, not her father.
Helen Blanch possibly grew up in the Truro area. What got her to Advocate to
meet up with George McLeod as a 16 year old ³housegirl? Cluney was a
lumberman so was possibly working in the Advocate Apple River area?
Burton Riley should be impressed with this newfound data on his great
grandmother.
