OBITUARY: Mrs. Kenneth Canning
Parrsboro - Mrs. Kenneth Canning, 55, of 18 Mill Street, Parrsboro, died at
home Tuesday. Born in Apple River, she was the former Marguerite Lillian
Atkinson, daughter of the late George and Evelyn (Shirley) Atkinson.
Surviving besides her husband are six sisters, Rubie (Mrs. Edward Trerise),
Vancouver; Muriel (Mrs. John Fette), Bokcelia [sic], Fla.; Ardis (Mrs.
Merrill Sheffield), North Sydney; Carmen (Mrs. Raymond------

------Beardsley), River Hebert; Meredith (Mrs. Fred Crossman), Brockville,
Ont.; three brothers, Shirley, Ronald and Willis, all of Toronto. The body
is in the family residence. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m.,
in St. George's Anglican Church, Rev. Wilfred Wagner officiating. Burial
will be in the church cemetery.
