COATES, Ronald - Owen Sound Sun Times - Monday, May 6, 2002 • Obituary - COATES Ronald Munroe Sr. Former Owner Operator of Norvar Paints At Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Sunday, May 5th, 2002. Ron Coates Sr., of Owen Sound, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Marjorie Coates nee MacDougall. Dear father of Ann Coates, of North Bay, Ron Coates Jr., of North Carolina, Lori and her husband, Paul McCannel, of Inglewood and Greg Coates, of Owen Sound. Papa of Erin and Lisa McCannel and Tori Bachiu. Brother of Hala and her husband, Glen Halderman, of Brooks, Alberta, Erma and her husband, Fred Dyas, of Marietta, Georgia, Madeline and her husband, Edward Comeau, of Amherst, Nova Scotia, Carol and her husband, Bill Morrisey, of St. John, New Brunswick, Ernie Coates and his wife, Lynda, of Owen Sound and Sharon Coates, of White Rock, British Columbia. Friends are invited to the TANNAHILL FUNERAL HOME for visiting on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Marys Church on Wednesday, May 8th at 10:00 a.m. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
