Spicer, Joanne P. -- 70, of Amherst, formerly of Mississauga, Ont. and
Ward's Brook passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at Cumberland Regional
Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter
of the late Wyman "Tud" and Margaret (Jeffers) Morris. She is survived
by her companion of 28 years, James "Jimmy" Brown; daughter, Donna
Crossman (Ivan), Amherst; a son, Robert, Brampton, Ont.; grandchildren,
Corey and Katie, Amherst; special great-granddaughter, Kenzie Lee Ann,
Amherst; a sister, Marilyn McQuaid, London, Ont.; brothers, Gary Morris
(Judy), Parrsboro; Blake Morris, Stellarton; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers, Neil and Robert. A graveside service
will be held 2 p.m. on Friday [October 7, 2011] at the Riverbank
Cemetery, Port Greville, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Reception to
follow service at the Port Greville Community Hall. Memorial donations
may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association.

passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 in Bramalea. Born in Parrsboro, he
was a son of the late Wyman and Margaret (Jeffers) Morris. He is
survived by daughters, Mandy and Misty, both of Ontario; a son, Wyman,
Ontario; a grandson, Tyrone; sisters, ***Joanne Spicer (Jimmy)***,
Amherst; Marilyn McQuaid, London, Ont.; brothers, Gary (Judy),
Parrsboro; Blake, Stellarton; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brother, Neil. A graveside service was held
September 15, 2010 at Riverbank Cemetery, Port Greville, Rev. Greg Doyle
officiating. Memorial donations may be made to charity of choice.

19, 1993, in South Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Parrsboro. Born in
Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Rose (Fowler)
Jeffers. She was a member of Pythian Sisters for 40 years. She is
survived by two daughters, ***Mrs. Joanne Spicer, Fox River***; Mrs.
Marilyn McQuaid, London, Ont.; four sons, Neil, Robert, both of
Mississauga, Ont.; Blake, Fox River; Gary, Parrsboro; four sisters, Mrs.
Minnie Delaney, Parrsboro; Mrs. Ruth Kendrick, Saint John, N.B.; Mrs.
Dolly Hatfield, St. Martins, N.B.; Mrs. Frances Smith, Victoria, B.C.;
15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her
husband, Wyman; sister, Florence; four brothers, Angus, Rhodes, Rollie,
Roy; a granddaughter. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Smith's
Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Port
Greville Baptist Church, Rev. Harold Bentley and Rev. Eric Miner
officiating. Burial will follow in Riverbank Cemetery, Port Greville.
Donations may be made to South Cumberland Memorial Hospital or Canadian
Cancer Society.
