OBITUARY: Roy D. Pettigrew
Springhill - Roy David Pettigrew, 76, of Athol Road, Springhill, died
Saturday in All Saint's Hospital, Springhill. Born in Springhill, he was a
son of the late Charles Henry and Mary Jane (Pettigrew) Pettigrew. He worked
in the carpentry and lumber trades. He was a member of the Lord Nelson
Orange Lodge, Springhill. Besides his wife, the former Amelia Selkirk, he is
survived by a son, Roy, Scarborough; a sister, Mrs. Marie (Geraldine)
Skidmore; and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Helen;
three infant sons; a brother, Freeman; and two sisters, Minnie and Mary. The
body is at A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill. Funeral arrangements are
incomplete.
