OBITUARY:
Pettigrew, Roy Stanley, 74, Springhill, died Thursday in Highland View
Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Newville Lake, Cumberland County, he was
a son of the late Henry B. and Lucy J. (Skidmore) Pettigrew. He is survived
by three sisters, Phyllis (Mrs. Ralph Anderson) Bedford, Mass.; Myrtle (Mrs.
Stanley Cross), Mettapan, Mass.; Mary (Mrs. Ralph York), Eastern Passage;
several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Medley,
Clair and King. The body is in A.H. Brown's Funeral Home, Springhill, where
the funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Glenn Matheson officiating. Burial
will be in Westbrook [sic] Cemetery.
