WARREN, Allison R. - 71, Queen Street, Parrsboro, died January 6, 2000, in
Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the
late Frank and Maurita (Roberts) Warren. He was a heavy equipment operator
and later operated Warren's Burner Service for many years. He was a member
of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 45, Parrsboro and the Parrsboro
Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Surviving are daughters, ***Sheila
King, Hampton, N.B***; Karen Smith, Parrsboro; Bernice Welton, New Prospect;
Louise Gilbert, Lakelands; son, Frank, New Prospect; sisters, Marion Warren,
Truro; Frances Winters, Brookfield; Elsie Trimm, Truro; brother, Arnold,
Bible Hill; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by
companion, Kathleen O'Brien; sister, Melba; brother, Cyril. Visitation 2-4,
7-9 p.m. today, in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, funeral 1 p.m. Sunday,
Rev. Robert Richmond officiating. Memorial donations to the IWK-Grace
Hospital Foundation or a charity of choice.
