Beatrice D. Taylor Beatrice D. Taylor of the Kenneth Spencer Memorial
Home, Moncton, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2004 at her residence
at the age of 98. She was born April 6, 1906 in Parrsboro, NS., she was
a daughter of the late Capt. Burton E. and Laura M. (Fulmer) Merriam.
Beatrice was a retired secretary. She was a charter and life member of
the U.C.W., Past Matron of the Frank H. Tingley Chapter 5 Order of the
Eastern Star and Past Grand representative of the State of Maine in New
Brunswick. She is survived by a nephew, Gerald Merriam (Marie) of Grand
Bay-Westfield. She was predeceased by her husband, Eldon D. Taylor; two
sisters, Ida Gamble and Margaret Allen; three brothers, Capt. Calvin F.
Merriam, Capt. George E. Merriam and Capt. Joseph C. Merriam. There will
be no visiting hours by request. The funeral service will be held from
the Wesley Memorial United Church on Monday, October 4, 2004 at 1:30 pm,
with Rev. Lloyd Bruce officiating. The interment will be held at the
Fairhaven Cemetery. Cadman's Funeral Home, 114 Alma St., Moncton are in
