Dave,
I don't have the obituary for Otis Charles Ross; however, if you're fitting his wife's family into your files, the marriage reg. for Otis listed his wife's parents as Edward Stone & Mina McKenzie. I believe "Mina" was Jemima. Here are the death registrations for Edward & Jemima from the NS Vitals site:
Edward Stone, b June 1849 in England, s/o Edward Stone & Mary Lewis, d Nov 14, 1934 in Oxford Jct. ae 85 yrs 10 mos and was buried in Oxford Jct. The informant was his daughter, Mrs. Otis Ross.
Jemima Stone, a widow, b Oct 5, 1862 in NS, d/o Hugh McKenzie & Jemima McKenzie, d Oct 22, 1938 in Oxford Jct. ae 76 yrs and was buried in Oxford Jct. The informant was her son-in-law, Otis Ross.
And here is their marriage reg. from NS Vitals:
Edward Stone, 32, B, mason, res of Oxford, b in England, s/o Edw. & Mary, was married on Oct 11, 1882 in Sackville to Jemima McKenzie, 18, S, res of Sackville, b in Musquodboit, d/o Hugh & Harriet.
(Sorry that I don't transcribe death and marriage registrations into my files using the same format that you do.)
I also have obituaries for two of Minnie Stone's brothers - Hugh "Stanley" Stone (died 15-Jul-1974) and John Desbrisay Stone (died 28-Jun-1966) and their wives. The obituary for another brother (Minor William or William Minor) was published in the Sep. 5, 1975 Chronicle Herald and the obituary for Mrs. Minor William Stone was published on Jan 29, 1983.
Gerry
