Re: Slack - Johnston Marriage

You mentioned that you thought Ellas Slack was the youngest of perhaps 7 children.  I think you're right about there being 7 children, but I think Gladys "Margaret" Slack was the youngest.  She was born in 1928 according to her husband's headstone in Hillside (Sore Finger) Ceme; Londonderry.

Dave --
Thanks so much for the military information about Ellas Slack, also all the other information.   My next project was to see if I could find it.  A few weeks ago I found my Uncle Lawrence Martin's attestation papers which gave me much more information than I had.  He was my mother's, (Olive Myrtle Martin), brother.
I realize now that Ellas was the youngest of, I think, seven children.
So much information out there - if one can find it.
Thanks again, Dave.

Note: Albert is a typo for Alvord/Alvard; Morton would be her step-son.
Avord/Alvard's m/1, Ella Maude Cove didn't die until 8 Nov 1922 - Morton was
born about 1920.
Another sibling of Morton Gilbert Slack I was informed about just recently
by a nscumber listener off line:
