OBITUARY: Mrs. Minnie Macumber
Scotch Village - Mrs. Minnie Macumber of Scotch Village, died suddenly
Tuesday at Payzant Memorial Hospital, Windsor, at the age of 53. She was
born in Advocate Harbor [sic], daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George
Morris.Besides her husband, George, she is survived by one daughter,
Margaret (Mrs. Emery McLellan), of Scotch Village; five sons, Cecil of
Stanley; Ernest, Paddy, Basil and Robert, all of Scotch Village; seven
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nathaniel Davidson of Hantsport and Mrs.
Mary Brown of Bramber; and one brother, Lawson, of Cheverie. Body is at
Lindsay Funeral Home, Windsor. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2
p.m., at Bramber Baptist Church. Interment in Bramber.

OBITUARY:
Macumber, George Avard - 82, Newport Station, Hants County, died Tuesday in
Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Bramber, Hants County, he was a
son of the late John and Mabel (MacNamara) Macumber. He was a member of the
Bramber Baptist Church, Bramber and worked most of his life in the woods. He
is survived by his second wife, the former Harriet McGuiness; six sons,
Cecil, Mosherville, Hants County; Peddy, Roland, Stephen, all of Windsor;
Ernie, Bramber; Basil, Ont.; two daughters, Margaret (Mrs. Emery McLellan),
Scotch Village, Hants County; Edith (Mrs. Walter Milne), Great Village,
Colchester County; two step-daughters, Grace, Joan; a step-son, Stanley; a
sister, Kaye (Mrs. Fred Pegg); a brother, Arch; nine grandchildren; six
step-grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.He was predeceased by his first
wife, the former Minnie Morris; a son, Robert; four infant children; seven
sisters, Eliza, Ada, Violet; Elizabeth, Edith, Hazel, Harriet; three
brothers, Robert, Roland, Isaac; two infant grandchildren. The body is in J.
Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville, Hants County, where funeral will be
held 2:30 p.m. Friday, Rev. Garnet Parker officiating.

Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. - Funeral was held here September 29 for Robert H.
MacUmber, 39. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Sault Ste. Marie. A memorial
service was held September 28 in Scotch Village. Born in Windsor, he was a
son of George MacUmber and the late Minnie (Morris) MacUmber. Besides his
father, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; a sister, Margaret (Mrs.
Emery McLellan), Scotch Village; four brothers, Cecil, Mosherville; Paddy,
Garland's Crossing; Ernest, mount Denson; and Basil, Sault Ste. Marie. In
lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Fund.
