GRAFTON - Hallie W. (Lunn) Hasty, 87, of 198 Brigham Hill Road, North Grafton, died yesterday in her home after a long illness. Her husband, Philip E. Hasty, died in 1958. She leaves a son, Philip E. Hasty Jr. of Mountain Home, Idaho; a daughter, Dorothy E. Fox of North Grafton, with whom she lived; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was born in New Salem, Nova Scotia, Canada, daughter of Silas H. and Minnie (Johnson) Lunn, and lived many years in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, before moving here in 1958. She lived many years in Grafton. Mrs. Hasty was a ward secretary for several years at The Medical Center of Central Massachusetts - Hahnemann in Worcester before she retired. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Grafton, and a former member of People's Methodist Church in South Portland, Maine, and the Pomona and Cape Elizabeth granges. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Robert C. Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. The Rev. David Garrecht will officiate. Burial will be in the spring in Forest City Cemetery, South Portland. Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made instead to the Oncology Department, The Medical Center of Central Massachusetts - Memorial, 17 Oak Ave., Worcester, 01605, or the Hospice Program, Visiting Nurse Association of Central Massachusetts, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, 01608.
