Charlotte Observer, The (NC) - August 11, 1990 Deceased Name: Mrs. Geneva Schurman Curry
98, of 1308 Cedar Ln. died Aug. 10, 1990, at Brian Center. Memorial service is 3 p.m. Sunday at Myers Park Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford, Mass. Visitation is following the memorial service. Harry and Bryant Funeral Home is in charge. Mrs. Curry, a homemaker, was a native of Amherst, Nova Scotia. She was formerly a registered nurse at Chester Hospital in Cambridge, Mass. She was president of American Baptist Women in 1946 and vice president of the 1951 American Baptist State Convention in Massachusetts. Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. Frances Kerr; brother, Aubrey Schurman of Boca Raton, Fla.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Myers Park Baptist Church, 1900 Queens Rd., Charlotte, N.C. 28207
