Realizing no one has answered your query, most obits that have been posted
have been transcribed by volunteers from microfilmed newspapers held in
various archives and genealogical museums in the province. There¹s also the
Chronicle Herald Obit CD (now out of print) which has published obits in the
1993-2000 range but the index includes just the names and publication dates
from 1960-1993.
I¹ve been getting my obits from the N.S. Archives in Halifax as I live
nearby.
