Postal Service where he worked until he retired at age 55. Bruce is survived by his parents Ross and Dorothy Canning of Lynn; his son William Ross Canning and his wife Angie and children Abigail, Caroline and Sarah of Pompano Beach, Fla.; his daughter Michelle Garcia and children Mache, Hector, Crystal and Angel of Austin, Texas; and his siblings, Jane Kent of Fernandina Beach, Fla., David and Ayn Canning of Edmond, Okla., Philip and Elaine Canning of North Andover and Shirley and Donald Chrisos of Brewer, Maine. His family also includes six nephews and three nieces. Bruce was a member of the Franco American Club where he spent time with his many friends. He also maintained close relationships with his former coworkers at the Post Office. Bruce loved his family and friends dearly and gave them so much joy and love. He will be remembered for his kind heart and generosity to those whose paths he crossed. Service information:Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 on Tuesday at SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN& RICHARDSON Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129) Lynn. Funeral service to follow at 11:30. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, with a celebration of Bruce's life following at the Franco American Club. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
