Re: Parrsboro Record Newspaper, 1944

Perhaps not then- I know my mother was friends with her because I remember her taking me to visit when I was still in a stroller. When I saw the Martin name I wondered if there was some family connection-cousin or something that I wasn't aware of. My mother was a Martin, her father was Joseph Martin who ran a shoe repair shop in Parrsboro. He died in 1945. His family was from the Tignish area of PEI. Have never had much luck finding extended family members from that side although I have a good idea of the previous generations.
