Mrs. James DRYSDALE was re-elected president of the Wallace Red Cross at the annual meeting on
November 29. The branch was organized in March.

O'Brien. Missed by daughter Deborah Adshade; sons Terry (Ellen), Brian (anna), Dale Adshade
(Wanna); sisters, Muriel McLean, Westchester and Natalie Brown, Riverview, NB; half-brothers
Paul and David O'Brien. Predeceased by her second husband Robert Coleman in 2007; sister Ferne
Downey; brothers Ormond and Arnold O'Brien.

MITCHELL, Elizabeth, 78, Little River, NB, Thursday, December 9, 2010. Born in Londonderry, NS,
daughter of the late Ulysses and Mabel (Pugsley) Morrison. Marrying Aubrey Mitchell in 1950,
moved to Lewisville, and retiring in Little River, NB. Mourn by her sister Dorothy.
Predeceased by her husband Aubrey; siblings Florence (November 2010), Eva, Cecil, Tommy and Earl.

THOMPSON, Kencil C., Lethbridge, AB, November 24, 2010. Fell short of the age of 95 by a
month. Survived by his wife Emily of almost 73 years; son Brent (Lesley), Calgary; sisters,
Bertha and Elaine, Toronto; Irma, Yukon; Vera, Amherst; Hilda, Winnie and Betty, Oxford;
brother-in-law Douglas; sisters-in-law Margaret and Geraldine.

CRECCO, Michael John, 66 years, Springhill, Monday, December 6, 2010. Born in Welland, Ontario,
son of the late Frencesco and Maria (Ala) Crecco. Missed by his wife, the former Melody Moore;
son Blair (Christine) Crecco, St. Catherines, Ontario; brother William (Toni) Crecco, Fonthill,
Ontario; sister Antoinette (Noel) Brennan, Kingston, Ontario. Predeceased by sisters, Jennie,
Nellie and Lena.

SPENCE, Robert Alexander "Bob", 76, Springhill, Monday, December 6, 2010. Born in Springhill,
son of the late Harmon and Mary (Spence) Spence. Missed by his wife, the former Lois (McLeod)
Calder; son Robert (Debbie) Spence, North Bay, Ontario; daughters Angela Warham and Jean (Doug
Jr.) Schiefer, both of Springhill, and Monica (Wayne) Miller and Monahanna (Peter) MacDonald,
both of Halifax; sister Mona Hannah, Windham Hill; brother Kenneth (Jewel) Spence, Halifax.
Predeceased by his first wife, the former Vivian Ellsworth; daughter Mary Scott; brothers
Junior, Jack, Donald, Mickey, Ernest and infant brother Ernie; sisters Helen, Mauretta, Evelyn
and Frances.

PURDY, Rosella Belle, February 19, 1911 - December 8, 2010. Hamilton, Ontario. Born in
Colchester County, NS. Predeceased by her parents, George and Margaret. Sister of the late
Truena, Harold, Lauretta, Haiina and Thaxter. Predeceased by her husband Charles (1981) and
sons John, Kenneth (survived by wife Frances) and daughter Minnie (the late Ronald) Morrell.
Mother of George (Marion), Dennis (Dorothy), Irene McGrath and Judy (the late Stanley) Cullen.
