OBITUARY: Edward Currie
River Hebert - Edward Currie, 58, of River Hebert, died Friday at home. Born
in River Hebert, he was a son of the late Alec and Lulu (Sharpe) Currie. He
was an employee of the Department of Highways until his retirement due to
ill health several years ago. He is survived by four sisters, Violet
McLellan, River Hebert; Alberta (Mrs. Robert Falconer), Oromocto, N.B.;
Mildred (Mrs. Ardeen MacKinnon), Amherst; and Yvonne (Mrs. William Nadick),
Toronto; two brothers, John, Westwille and Douglas, Amherst. He was
predeceased by two sisters, Florence Pettipas and Marie Gallagher; and a
brother, Donald. The body is in Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst. Funeral
arrangements are incomplete.
