BROWN, Claude A. - 77, Southampton, Cumberland Co., passed away Monday, July 17, 2006, in Cumberland Regional Health Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Southampton, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Grace (Carter) Brown. He drove bus for Acadian Lines and was a truck driver for Irving Oil for many years. He retired as a truck driver from Casey Concrete in Amherst. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the DOKK Lodge. He is survived by son, Russell (Linda), Southampton; brothers, Lawson, Gerald (Jessie), all of Southampton; grandchildren, Angie (Ted Wallace), Coldbrook; Jeff, Amherst; special friend, Gail Jackson, Springhill. He was predeceased by his wife, Daisy, in 1996. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where a Knights of Pythias tribute service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral 2 p.m. Thursday in Southampton United Church, Rev. Carolyn MacLeod and Rev. Elizabeth Davies officiating. Burial in Southampton Cemetery.
