*Lloyd V. Repetto *1929 - 2011
REPETTO, Lloyd V. - 81, of Parrsboro passed away Monday, January 10,
2011 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in
Halifax, he was a son of the late Stephen and Annie (Keddy) Repetto.
Lloyd began his working career with S.E. O'Regan in Parrsboro as an
apprentice mechanic. He later started the Crossroads Garage with his
brother in law, Danny McPhee where he worked for 27 years. Upon his
retirement he was caretaker of Paul and Steve O'Regan's properties in
the Parrsboro area. He was a gifted woodworker and was a ham radio
operator since he was a child. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with
his family. He is survived by a son, Johnson (Wendy), Parrsboro; a
granddaughter, Bethany; a grandson, Cameron; three nieces, Gloria, Laura
and Mary. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Jean McPhee in
2004; a sister, Mona; a brother, Gerald. Funeral service will be held 2
p.m. on Thursday [January 13, 2010] at St. George's Anglican Church,
Parrsboro, Rev. Tory Byrne officiating. Burial will follow in the church
cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and stroke
Foundation of Nova Scotia.

father's first marriage to Lena Parker, possibly because Mary Lena died,
age 14 in 1929 and Joseph died in infancy in 1918 (when Lena (Parker)
Repetto died as well).

REPETTO, Jean L. - 75, Whitehall Road, Parrsboro, passed away Tuesday,
April 13, 2004, in South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro.
Born in Diligent River, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary
(Gallion) McPhee. She was a member of St. George's Anglican Church,
Parrsboro, where she served with the Alter Guild and as a Sunday school
teacher for many years. She was the organist at Christ Church in
Parrsboro Roads for many years. She worked at the MT&T Telephone office
in Parrsboro for 11 years and was bookkeeper for the Crossroads Garage,
a business operated by both Lloyd and her brother, Danny. She is
survived by her husband of 43 years, Lloyd; son, Johnson (Wendy), Lower
Sackville; granddaughter, Bethany; grandson, Cameron; sister, Elizabeth
McPhee, Advocate Harbour; brothers, Thomas, Johnson (June), all of
Parrsboro; Danny (Marjorie), Parrsboro; several nieces and nephews. She
was predeceased by sister, Kathleen; brothers, Stewart, Morris, George.
Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral 2
p.m. Friday in St. George's Anglican Church, Parrsboro, Rev. Mark Pretty
officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be
made to South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro or to a
