HUNTER, Vera Elnore - 70, of 262 McGee Street, Springhill, passed away Friday, April 23, 1999 in All Saints Hospital, Springhill. Born in Chignecto, Cumberlend Co., she was a daughter of the late John (Fred) and Charlotte (Berry) MacLellan. She was an adherent to the All Saints Anglican Church, Springhill. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, playing cards, fishing, sewing and her family. She is survived by her husband, Leamond Hunter. A son, Larry and his companion Claudette, Springhill; daughter, Valerie and her husband Danny Zwicker, Fall River; brother, Harold, Joggins, NS; sisters, Greta Melanson, River Hebert; Audery Taylor, Grande Cache, Alberta; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. tonight, April 24 and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday from the A.H. Brown Funeral Home in Springhill from where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 26, Rev. Frank Likely officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
