Considering Ira Wesley Chandler died 20 Nov 1925 and sperm banks hadn't been
invented yet, I doubt Elma Bessie was a d/o Ira Wesley Chandler.
I have a note Agnes Jane Boutilier lived common law after Ira's death with
a John Rogers; no other supporting data. Agnes would have only been a 27
year old widow when Ira died in 1925.
In my file, as these children gradually become deceased, any born after
1925, I put with Agnes Jane's second relationship.
Clyde Ira Chandler was born 4 Jun 1926 so Agnes could have been pregnant
with him by Ira when he died, 20 Nov 1925.

OBITUARY: Jane Agnes Chandler
Upper Tantallon - Jane Agnes Chandler, 77, of Upper Tantallon, Halifax
County, died Friday in Morrison, Ont. Born in Tantallon, she was the
daughter of the late Amos and Sarah (Swallows) Boutilier. She was the last
surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by three sons,
Clyde, Brantford, Ont,; Herbert, Upper Tantallon; and Edgel, Shad Bay; five
daughters, Uzena (Mrs. Gerald Ashe), Upper Tantallon; Beatrice (Mrs. William
Huether), Morriston, Ont.; Marion (Mrs. Harry Coolen), Hubbards; Meta (Mrs.
Fernand Frenette), Halifax; and Elma (Mrs. James DesBarres), South East
Passage; 47 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased
by her husband, Ira W.; a son, Wesley; two daughters, Muriel and Anna, and
five grandchildren. The body will be in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home,
Hubbards after 2 p.m. today. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in United
Baptist Church, Head of St. Margaret's Bay, Rev. Edward Stackhouse
officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, Mason's Point. In lieu
of flowers, donations may be made to United Baptist Church or any charity.
