Francis Arthur "Frank" McDonald 1954-2011
Francis "Frank" McDonald 56 years, of Springhill, passed away on
Tuesday, January 4, 2011, in Pugwash. Born in Springhill, he was a son
of Frances Annie Mae (Bird) McDonald, Mapleton and the Late S. Arthur
McDonald. Frank was a graduate of Cumberland Regional Vocational School,
Springhill, as a plumber which he worked at and also as a maintenance
plumber with Sunset Adult Centre, Pugwash, for the last 12 years. He
enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, four-wheeling, going to Tim Horton's, his
family and friends. Besides his mother, he will be sadly missed by
step-son, B.J. (Valerie Hachey) Nicholson, Mapleton; step-daughter,
Kimberly (Chris) Stach, Fall River; brother, Bert (Alice) McDonald,
Gairlock, N. S. and a sister, Brenda (George) McAloney, Lynn Road, Cumb.
Co.; four step-grandchildren; good friend Christine; several nieces and
nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361), where visitation will be
held 7 - 9 pm, Thursday, January 6, 2011 and from 1 - 3 pm on Friday,
January 7, 2011 followed immediately at 3:00 pm with The Reverend Marion
Lloy officiating. Burial in Mapleton Cemetery, at a later date. If so
desired, donations in Frank's memory may be made to a charity of
